The Kingfisher Project has been selected for funding via the Tesco’s Bags of Help programme.
Bags of Help is Tesco’s local community grant scheme where the money raised by the carrier bag charge in Tesco stores is being used to fund thousands of community projects across Great Britain. The programme will support local good causes and grants, and up to £4,000 will be available to support local projects that benefit the community.
The Kingfisher Project is one of three local projects that have been selected and currently in store for shoppers to vote. A token is given to customers when they have paid for their shopping.
We hope that you can all help by voting for the Kingfisher Project with your Tesco Bags of Help Blue Chips in the following stores:
- Tesco Superstore, St Peters Bridge
- Tesco Express, Stapenhill
- Tesco Express, Church Gresley
Voting is open in store until 28th February.
