The Kingfisher Project has raised £780 for The Children’s Air Ambulance.
The Children’s Air Ambulance is dedicated to helping children all across the UK get to the care and support they need. Fast. The charity does not receive any government funding and provides all their services free of charge. They are driven by first class professionals, supported by a small army of volunteers and rely entirely on the generous donations of the public to fund their work. As they are not supported by government funds they rely on the kindness of people to donate to help keep them flying.
John Bown from The Children’s Air Ambulance said “I’d like to thank the people from The Kingfisher Project very sincerely on behalf of the charity for the wonderful donation today. As I explained to the group, it is a wonderful exciting time for the Children’s Air Ambulance as we are launching an extra helicopter. The service is going to be a lot better and donations of this type are the absolute life blood of the charity. Again I would like to thank everyone concerned most sincerely for their generosity.”
The money was raised by hosting four family community fun days over the summer in various locations around East Staffordshire. The fun days were hosted at The Kingfisher gardens at Beresford Close and Masefield Crescent in Burton on Trent. All profits made from the four fun days were donated directly to The Children’s Air Ambulance.

Like them, we heavily rely on charitable donations to keep our community group going and we are delighted to be able to contribute towards the launch of their extra helicopter.”
